Description

Rare English grandfather clock, clockwork. For project or parts. It is complete and probably it is still working. From the pendulum the suspension spring broke and it stood in decay in storage. The case was lost. I am no expert in English clockworks but this looks special to me. Only the pendulum never seen one that long before 6 foot or 183 cm without the suspension. The suspension is special as well. There is no indication of the maker of this clockwork. But you can see it was crafted with lots of handwork. It is with ropes and the original rope is there. It needs some work the clock that stops the hammer drop on the counting gear is not working correctly, The spring for that drop needs something but I cant figure it out. So I am selling this as a project clockwork or for parts. We have the weights and the pendulum listed separately. It is a used item with signs of use and age.

We sell used parts, taken from used clocks. New parts and new old stock parts. They are bound to have signs of use, may be in need of cleaning.
