Description
Original hand painted small oak tables taken from a double hood friesian tail clock, a so called “burgemeestersklok”. It is so impressive, the clock size, that it only hang with the notables of the city. Some of these paintings represent a part of the town/village. The paintings are in good condition, some paint loss, nothing disturbing considering the age of the paintings. I think mid 1800’s comes pretty close. It are 2 small paintings for the side windows and a large painting that goes over the hood. The small paintings are 7 1/2″ or 19 cm tall and 4″ or 10 cm wide. The large front painting is 14 1/16″ or 38 cm wide and 8″ or 20 cm tall on the corners. In the center it is 3 1/2″ or 9 cm . Paint loss, used item signs of use.
