Description
Super table or bracket clock! Various varieties have been made, last where build by Warmink from Almelo. JWA and WUBA are 2 of the brands Warmink used.
This clock features are:
- Gorgeous walnut case. Marked on the backdoor WUBA .
- 1970s old.
- Dial with roman numbers, ornaments around it and brass engraved center. Small tag in the dial with Warmink on it.
- 4 acorns on top. Nice bronze ornaments on the front, 4 bronze feet.
- A moon dial that keeps track of the stages of the moon, when set to your local moon phase. Above that is a moon calendar of 29.5 days.
- 8 day clockwork in excellent running condition. Platform escapement movement marked Schatz.
- Rare clock with a selector on the clockwork for 3 melodies and silent. Westminster, Whittington and St Michel. Every quarter it chimes part of the melody building up to the full hour when it strikes the full melody and the hour.
- Winding on the front, comes with a key.
- Small windows like openings with fretwork on the sides.
- It stands approx 10″ or 26 cm tall and 9″ or 23 cm wide and 7″ or 17 cm deep.
- In excellent condition, given its age. Little nicks and dings on the case. Nothing disturbing just signs of use.
