Hindeloopen in the Netherlands was/is know for its decorating of household objects in typical folklore style with base color red or green. The base material of this lamp is glass. This oil lamp is a one of a kind. Probably hard to find in this condition, as the kerosene would ruin the paint. With this one they have been careful not to spill the petrol and so it is in pretty good condition. Just some paint loss around the collar from the sweating of the collar. We placed a new wick and that is moving up and down, that is as far as we have tested the working condition of the lamp. It stands approx. 23″ or 58 cm tall and O 6″ or 15 cm. Stand is a bit irregular at the bottom. Used item signs of use.

We sell used parts, taken from used clocks. New parts and new old stock parts. They are bound to have signs of use, may be in need of cleaning.
