Description
Antique set of hand carved wooden statues for the Friesian tail clock. The set has some flaws. Sometimes that is understandable as these sets must survive sometimes over 100 years and more. The wings of the angels are a later date production. The sticks on the mirrors are replacement and a tad small. One thumb is replaced with a small piece of wood.
The arms on the angel statues are original glued to the torso as it was a lot of work to cut it out of the wood in one piece. Therefore the break you see is original. Statues are approx. 8 1/4″ or 21 cm tall and 3″ or 8 cm wide over the wings.
We sell used parts, taken from used clocks. New parts and new old stock parts. They are bound to have signs of use, may be in need of cleaning. They might look slightly different then pictured due to production process differences. The colours could be slightly different. Collaborating pictures are shown for reference and are never, unless clearly specified, part of the sale.
