Description
Antique dial for a friesian tail clock. The dial is taken from a 1850s clock with quarter chime. The clock has the pressed brass sheet bridal garland around the dial. It was given back then as a wedding gift. The small painting on top could represent the village the bride grew up. The dial is marked on the back, but the signature of the painter is faded. The painting is still in very good condition. On the corners there is a depiction of the 4 seasons in pressed sheet brass. Used item signs of use.
We sell used parts, taken from used clocks. New parts and new old stock parts. They are bound to have signs of use, may be in need of cleaning. They might look slightly different then pictured due to production process differences. The colors could be slightly different. Collaborating pictures are shown for reference and are never, unless clearly specified, part of the sale.
