Antique embroidered clock runner for the friesian tail and stoel clock. Depicting windmills, it has a liner. Runners Were used to cover the top of the antique Friesian tail clocks, that back in the day was made of burlap. Burlap didn’t keep the dust out of the clockwork. The habit continued and still today, even when the roofs from the clocks are solid, runners are covering the rooftops. In excellent condition. It is approx. 32 3/4″ or 83 cm long and 6 1/4″ or 16 cm wide. Used item signs of use and age.
